About The Site

This website was the very first fansite for Eric Mabius, started in 1999. Back then we were known as "The Black Circle of Eric Mabius."

How did we start out? Well, I 'discovered' Eric while watching Black Circle Boys with my friend. We were awestruck by Eric's looks and acting, and we sought out more of his movies. We searched the web and to our dismay, found not one site dedicated to him!

So, since I have web design experience, we decided we should start our own. I'm the one who runs the whole site and does the design/html, however my buddy was my partner in all that is Eric, and without her I probably wouldn't have gotten into him in the first place!

I was lucky enough to be in contact via email with Eric himself a few times, and we were able to meet him in person twice: The first time at Fangoria 2000, and a special screening of The Crow: Salvation which Eric held in Northampton, Massachusetts in 2001 - an event we helped to promote. Eric is a very sweet person, humble and down-to-earth. He seemed appreciative of the site and the work put into it, which made us both very proud! Meeting him both times was a truly happy experience and we will treasure it.

This site went on a long (very long) hiatus for a few years, for the usual reasons - lack of time, change of interests, etc. With Eric's new stardom in Ugly Betty, however, he deserves to have this site updated! Hence the brand new look you see here today.
